Connected Generation 2010; Working with young people in a digital age

Friday 7th May 10am-4.30pm – Bristol Watershed

One day conference for managers and practitioner is packed full of expert input; practical workshops; and opportunities to network and discuss with colleagues; all focussed on how professionals and volunteers working with young people can respond to the fundamental role of digital technologies and social media in young peoples lives.

  • Ethics and ICT – workshop with Andy Phippen from Plymouth University;
  • Promoting Positive Activities with Social Media with Steven Flower from Plings;
  • Safe and Sound Foundations – proactive approaches to safe social media engagement with young people, staff and volunteers;
